Give Yourself A Hand
Here are some activities that can help calm your mind.
Presence Exercise
If you’re having a hard time, stop everything and identify what is around you using your 5 senses... one by one, slowly, identify what you see, then hear, then taste, then smell, and feel physically with your hands or on your skin. Take a deep breath in, exhale fully and relax your shoulders and jaw. Repeat as often as needed.
1 to 1 Breathing Exercise
Take a deep breath in, exhale fully. Now breathe normally. Pay attention to your breath, your inhale and your exhale. Relax your shoulders on the next exhale. Begin to count the length of a normal breath in, then exhale for the same count. Repeat four times, with a pause at the top and the bottom of each breath. Relax your shoulders and jaw, smile :) repeat often.
